The first ISfN congress

The first Icelandic Society for Neuroscience congress will be held next Friday (5 pm – 7 pm) on October 17th at Reykjavík University, Ofanleiti 2. The congress will start with a welcoming address followed by poster promotion and refreshments. Unfortunately, because of unforeseen circumstances Dr. Thompson‘s lecture had to be cancelled. More information about the exact location of the congress will be announced at a later time.

The congress is open for all interested.

Fyrsta ráðstefna Taugavísindafélags Íslands verður haldin næstkomandi föstudag 17. október í húsakynnum Háskólans í Reykjavík, Ofanleiti 2. Ráðstefnan byrjar kl. 17:00 með ávarpi formanns og stendur til kl. 19:00. Á ráðstefnunni verða veggspjaldakynningar og léttar veitingar eins og áður var auglýst en vegna ófyrirsjáanlegra aðstæðna í þjóðfélaginu undanfarna daga mun fyrirlestur Dr. Thompsons falla niður. Nánari upplýsingar um staðsetningu ráðstefnunnar verður tilkynnt síðar.
